I had been looking to replace my stand-alone garage door (out in the open without the structure/walls of an actual garage) for a long time. I contacted several companies, but the few that came by discouraged me from doing so and wanted to sell me a roll-up garage door, most of which looked very industrial, seemed overkill for a DC Capitol Hill rowhouse, and were a lot more costly. Other companies said they would provide estimates but did not even bother to follow through. With lots of hesitation, I contacted these guys. Jose visited and provided me with an estimate and assured me that they could do it. I had a lot of doubts, but eventually took the risk. I am glad I went with them. Not only I got what I wanted but saved the extra thousands that a roll-up door would have cost me. They also were able to widen the entryway to the maximum width of the rowhouse’s backyard with a specially ordered door. The installation took about three days, and it came out great. I did have a recurring issue with the cable of the door coming loose from the pully twice, a few weeks after the installation and about a month ago. I called them both times it happened, and they showed up promptly the next day to recalibrate the door. So far, it is working well. They seem very responsive and invested in standing by the quality of their work. I would certainly recommend them, especially because of their quick response to come back and resolve any issues that may arise.

Jose is very nice, he serviced & fixed my garage door. I highly recommend! Thank you very much!

Jose was very responsive, knowledgeable, and customer friendly. He immediately identified the issue and quoted a very reasonable price to do the work. Very pleased with his services.

I recently had garage installed by Garage Door Installation & Repair LLC, and I couldn't be happier with the entire experience. From start to finish, the process was smooth, professional, and exceeded my expectations. Jose was incredibly knowledgeable, answering all my questions and providing great recommendations that truly enhanced the final result. The installation itself was seamless and completed on time. Jose was punctual, respectful, and left everything clean and tidy. The quality of the materials used and the attention to detail in the craftsmanship are outstanding. I was particularly impressed with how well they managed to integrate the new garage door with the existing structure of the previous garage door, making it look like it had before. What I appreciated most was their commitment to customer satisfaction. Garage Door Installation & Repair LLC kept me informed at every stage and ensured that I was completely satisfied with the work before wrapping up. It's rare to find such dedication and professionalism these days. I highly recommend Garage Door Installation & Repair LLC, for anyone considering a garage door installation or repair. I had a truly excellent experience with Garage Door Installation & Repair LLC. I came across their ad on Facebook Marketplace and reached out to Osberto. Mr. Jose responded to my inquiry almost immediately and scheduled a same-day, no-obligation garage door inspection, which I really appreciated. He arrived exactly as agreed, carefully inspected the garage door, and provided a clear quote. After we agreed on the work, he scheduled the repair and completed the job yesterday afternoon. Mr. Jose came with his son, and together they did a fantastic job. He is very communicative, detail-oriented, and professional. It’s clear that he genuinely cares about his clients and takes pride in his work. I was so impressed with the service that I’ve already decided to use his company for my other property as well. I highly recommend Garage Door Installation & Repair LLC to anyone looking for reliable, honest, and high-quality garage door service!

Jose was easy to work with - knowledgeable, professional, responsive. Our garage door had stopped opening, and the old wooden door was beginning to rot as well. Jose gave us two estimates - one for a quick repair and one to replace the door and ensure it would work with the existing motor. We hired him to replace the door and he was able to complete the work two days later, as scheduled, in under 2 hours. Now it works great and looks great!

I initially reached out to Garage Door Installation and Repair, LLC to just get an inspection on our garage door system as a whole and to get an estimate to insulate the door. I was immediately contacted by Jose who had availability to come by and look at the system that same morning. Jose arrived promptly as agreed upon and conducted his inspection. After his inspection, he reviewed his summary and why/how he came to the conclusions he did. We needed a new spring due to its age and due to the fact that the motor was barely rated enough to operate the weight of the door (builders grade where they do the bare minimum to get approved). Jose recommended adding a spring as well to help the current motor lift the door. Additionally, Jose discussed the pros and cons of adding insulation to a current door and the benefits of buying a new door with insulation already built-in. At no point did I feel that Jose was trying to up-sell me; he just provided me some facts so that I could make the best decision for our needs. He left some notes for my wife and I to discuss before making a final decision. That same evening, I had additional questions, so reached out to Jose and he took the necessary time to answer them; again to help us make the best decision for our needs. At the end of our conversation, we decided to go with a new garage door with insulation already built in, but to keep the original motor as it was sufficient for the new door with two springs. Jose had availability to install the door the following week and Jose ensured that the new door was exactly the same as the old door to meet our HOA rules. For door installation, Jose arrived per the agreed upon time and replaced the garage door. It didn’t take long and at the end of the install, he took the time to explain what he did. As my wife was home for the install, she and Jose provided me some notes so that I was comfortable with what took place. Jose also stated that the current motor was capable enough to handle the weight of the new door, but that if I had any questions, to reach out. The door also came with a 3-year warranty. After arriving home, I had reservations about not replacing the motor, so I reached out to Jose to ask questions about that. He provided me information about the type of motors he would recommend and choices on purchasing on my own or allowing him to purchase and install. Again, making me feel comfortable about what was best for our needs. We decided on a LiftMaster motor (purchased and installed by Jose) and settled on a day for installation. For motor installation, Jose arrived per the agreed upon time, installed the motor, and keypads and all of the peripherals very quickly and ensured that we had the phone app installed on our phones and that everything was working before his departure. When it was all said and done, Jose was responsive, informative, and communicative. The prices he offered for each step was affordable no matter what material was chosen and his installation was very professional. All of the materials also came with a 3-year warranty. I would highly recommend Garage Door Installation and Repair, LLC for any of your home garage door system needs.
